Wild Range Meat Gift Voucher

Purchasing this digital gift voucher creates a unique code. The gift voucher recipient can enter this code at checkout to subtract the gift voucher value from their order total. It can be spent on beef, venison, pork or our gifts on our website only.

How it works

Choose the amount and click “add to basket”. When you have made your purchase you will receive an email containing your voucher code. You can forward this on to your recipient when required.

How to redeem a voucher

To redeem a voucher enter the code in at the checkout.

The voucher can be redeemed multiple times, until the voucher amount has been depleted.

How to buy gift voucher’s for more than one person

If you purchase multiple vouchers in one go, you will get a separate email for each voucher, so that you can send each person their own voucher.

The Turtle Dove is the fastest declining bird in the UK with a tragic loss of 98% in only 48 years. One of Knepp’s biggest success stories has been the return of the Turtle Dove, with 20 singing males recorded at Knepp in 2021, compared with only 3 in 1999. This swimming towel celebrates this back-from-the-brink success and urges the Turtle Dove to continue making its wonderful “Turr” sound.

The Turtle dove in many ways is a flagship of Knepp. The clearance of scrub and wasteland from the British countryside has pushed this species migrating from sub-Saharan Africa to the brink of extinction in Britain. It is no wonder then that Knepp has seen a dramatic increase in breeding pairs since the project started. Their soft trrrrrring call is once again a common sound between the months of April to June.

Knepp Purple Emperor Tea Towel

Second only in size to the swallowtail, purple emperors were first seen at Knepp in 2010. The males display in the canopy of the oaks, marking out their territory in competition for females. They are surprisingly aggressive, and will chase away anything else that flies – including birds.

It is our emerging sallow scrub, however, that has attracted them to the rewilding project. The females lay their eggs on a particular type of sallow leaf. This only occurs on a very low percentage of hybridised sallows. Large areas of sallow are therefore needed in order to encourage large populations of purple emperors. However, in our modern landscape, sallow is rarely tolerated and consequently this lovely irridescent purple butterfly has become incredibly rare.
